Toa Bismuth

This was my first 3D printing project: making the chest-plate, mask and shoulder-plates of Toa Bismuth.

 The design is based on the court symbol from the web comic Gunnerkrigg Court:

 The mask is attached onto a Metru head by a axle on the inside of the mask.

These are the 3D printed pieces off of the official Lego pieces.

Exo-toa Gen 2

I figured my first post on this blog should be some thing that looks at least half finished so I decided why not my Exo-Toa?

 The picture on the top is of the armor in its automated mode. The picture on the left is a scale with an unmodified Pohatu. The picture on the right is of Pohatu in the armor. I tried to keep as many things the same from the original 2002 Exo-Toa. like the original there is no pins connecting Pohatu to the armor.

It seems that Kulta bit off more than he can chew!
